No seriously, it is praise because before I saw Dr. Phibes I saw a lot of pictures from it in books and magazines, and thought it looked like it must be really cool. Then I saw the movie and was really disappointed. THere were a couple of neat images in it but I thought it was mostly a let-down. But I love your picture of it. This actually gets me in the mood to give the movie another try. So you should take that as a compliment.
I guess that makes sense. I love the Phibes movies... they're a little slow but I think that's one of the reasons I like
'em I'd really love to see them re-made. But I guess in a way that's kind of what saw is.
The flicks are a little slow but I love 'em. its kinda like the precursor to all the Jigsaw killler (you know the guy from saw) type things. hilariously over the top complicated kills (my favorite is he kills some woman in her sleep by pouring condensed brussels sprouts and then dropping locusts on her face)
I used to work at a computer tech help desk and a guy named Vincent Price called in for help. I yelled out with glee to all the techs around me that I had Vincent Price on the phone, but to my dismay, no one knew who he was.
